Some of the most dynamic contemporary artworks marry more than one technical approach. Creative Living Works is looking for entries that challenge the traditional boundaries of art making and involve multiple mediums. Applicants are invited to submit work that crosses one or more creative disciplines. Unique and experimental art is encouraged. The collaboration of creative fields may be in the subject matter, the medium or a combination of both.
This opening will also be one of the first to be broadcast in virtual reality thanks to StreamVR. Watch the recording of the VR + Art webinar to find out more about how VR will be used.
There will be workshops during the month featuring some Creative Living Works instructors. The closing reception will feature live music by The Steve Gutenband and The Breakfast Project on January 30 from 7-10 PM with suggested $10 cover. Best in Show and People's Choice awards will also be announced that night.
