The Washington Street gallery’s new show,”‘Me and My Friends Make Art IV” a celebration of creativity and friendship, opens on March 1, with a reception at 6 pm, at 321 Washington St., Somerville. In this fourth exploration of creative engagement, the members of Washington Street studios invite a friend from outside the studio to participate in the show. Some pairs collaborate, some influence each other, some just provide support and inspiration. The works on view may relate or not, but the spirit of mutual creativity is the heart of this show. Our studio members work in a wide array of media (fiber art, photography, printing, sculpture, painting, etc.), and our friends do too. Come see what we’ve been working on and the many ways artists react to and explore influences. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with our current and former members and see work by artists not previously shown in the gallery. The show runs through March 30 at 321 Washington Street, Somerville.
