Composer, performer and improviser Philip White works with electronics at the intersection of noise, jazz and contemporary concert music. Current projects include R WE WHO R WE (with Ted Hearne), Colonic Youth (with James Ilgenfritz, Kevin Shea and Dan Blake) and duos with Chris Pitsiokos, Bob Bellerue and Taylor Levine. His music has been released on New Focus Recordings, Infrequent Seams and Tape Drift Records. Chris Pitsiokos is a saxophonist, composer, and improviser. His music combines the intensity and immediacy of no wave and noise with the lyricism and forward propulsion of jazz and the abstract detail of contemporary classical composers Iannis Xenakis, Briany Ferneyhough, and Helmut Lachenmann. Recent/current collaborators include Lydia Lunch, Tyshawn Sorey, Peter Evans, Kevin Shea, Brian Chase, Elliott Sharp, Mick Barr, Marc Edwards, Philip White, and Weasel Walter. Chris has performed throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, and the US. In addition to performing and composing music, Chris runs his own record label, Eleatic records, curates the Gadfly Series at New York venue Spectrum, and programs a radio show at WKCR-FM.

Skinny Vinny formed over 10 years ago at SMFA, this well travelled free improv duo has lived many lives in near constant flux - growing, re-arranging, expanding. While the sound making has changed, the core fundamentals of the duo have remain constant - interactive, fast thinking, shape-shifting. Comprised of Josh Jefferson on saxophone (also in Duck That) and Flandrew Fleisenberg on percussion (from the Floft and Flopera House), the duo artists stretch the possibilities of their chosen instrumentation with a bevy of extended techniques that are all their own. Coming off a multi-year hiatus, due to Fleisenberg's relocation to Philadelphia and Jefferson's commitment to visual art, Skinny Vinny is together again for a May 2015 4-show New England tour, and a cross-country tour planned for November 2015.
Stephan Moore is a composer, improviser, audio artist, sound designer, teacher, and curator based in Brooklyn and Providence. His creative work currently manifests as electronic studio compositions, solo and group improvisations, sound installation works, scores for collaborative performance pieces, and sound designs for unusual circumstances. Evidence, his long-standing project with Scott Smallwood, has performed widely and released several recordings over the past decade. He also performs with the improvisation quartets Bumpr and Volume(n), and is a frequent collaborator with the performance groups The Nerve Tank and a canary torsi. His company, Isobel Audio, produces unique Hemisphere speakers. Since receiving an Electronic Arts MFA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2003, where he studied with Pauline Oliveros and Curtis Bahn, he has created custom music software for a number of composers and artists, and taught workshops and numerous college-level courses in composition, programming, sound art and electronic music. He is the president of the American Society for Acoustic Ecology, and the curator and artistic director of In The Garden of Sonic Delights at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, a recurring 5-month exhibition of outdoor sound art across Westchester County started in 2014. From late 2004 to mid-2010, he performed over 250 concerts with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, serving as a touring musician, sound engineer, and music coordinator. He will complete his Ph.D. in Electronic Music and Multimedia the MEME program at Brown University in May 2015.
Mark Cetilia is a sound / media artist working at the nexus of analogue and digital technologies. Exploring the possibilities of generative systems in art, design, and sound creation, Cetiliaâ€™s work is an exercise in carefully controlled chaos. Over the past decade, he has worked to develop idiomatic performance systems utilizing custom hardware and software, manifesting in a rich tapestry of sound and image. Mark is a member of the electroacoustic ensemble Mem1 and the experimental media art group Redux, recipients of a 2006 Creative Capital grant for their Callspace installation. He received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D in computer music and multimedia at Brown University. He has taught classes and workshops on sound, media art and programming at RISD, Brown University, OpenToko (Amersfoort, NL), and the TELIC Arts Exchange (Los Angeles, CA). Cetiliaâ€™s work has been screened / installed at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London, UK), the Ben-Ari Museum of Contemporary Art (Bat Yam, IL), R.K. Projects (Providence, RI), the Atlantic Center for the Arts (New Smyrna Beach, FL), and SoundWalk (Long Beach, CA). He has performed widely at venues including CafÃ© OTO (London, UK), the Borealis Festival (Bergen, NO), STEIM (Amsterdam, NL), the REDCAT Theater at Disney Hall (Los Angeles), Roulette (NYC), Goethe-Institut (Boston), Menza Pri Koritu (Ljubljana, SI), Issue Project Room (Brooklyn, NY), Uganda (Jerusalem, IL), the San Francisco Electronic Music Festvial, Sound of Mu (Oslo, NO) and Electronic Church (Berlin, DE).
