WHAT WE DO

Washington St. is a nonprofit arts organization located in Somerville, MA. Situated between the Inman Square and Union Square neighborhoods, the building hosts studio space for about 20 local artists. Our facilities also include a fully operational darkroom for processing and printing black and white film.

Washington St. Gallery, hosts a year round schedule of group exhibitions, member exhibitions, and special events. The gallery space can be rented out by independent instructors and performing artists as a venue for classes and performances.
